Welcome Alexander

Alexander is a student from the UK studying for an integrated master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London. His third year was completed on exchange at the University of Melbourne, where, in addition to his studies, he undertook a research project studying the degradation pathways of chemical warfare agents using the Gaussian computer package. While in Australia he also undertook a 3-month research internship at Monash University, where he worked to develop biodegradable packaging films made from nanocellulose and other renewable materials. Other university projects include designing an anaerobic digestion system to treat brewery effluent as well as simulating the performance and control of plug-flow reactors. Following this 2-month internship he will return to Imperial College for his final year.
