Our laboratory

The laboratory of the Chair includes 1200 m2 of pilot infrastructure located at 3000 Boulevard de l’Université in Sherbrooke. Reaction systems are usually designed, assembled and optimized on site ensuring a speed of execution generally exceeding expectations.

The team of the Chair also has its own analytical park where students and researchers of CRIEC-B can benefit from the presence of liquid chromatography systems (HPLC), ultra high performance liquid chromatography system coupled with spectroscopy of time of flight mass (UHPLC), gas chromatography systems (GC-TCD / TCD / FID and GC-FID), gas chromatography system coupled with mass spectroscopy (GC-MS ) as well as a gas chromatography system coupled with mass spectroscopy with time of flight (GC-MS / TOF).

Finally, the Chair has routine spectroscopic tools such as UV-Vis spectrophotometers and an FTIR spectrophotometer. The Chair can accommodate external requests for analysis that are consistent with its routine analyzes.
