Ian Macedo Silva is a Brazilian student that holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and has earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the same university. Since his bachelor, Ian has developed an interesting for working with biofuels, especially biogas, so in his master he worked on computational simulations for hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide absorption, especially for biogas upgrading. He joined the BLT to do an internship while he was doing his masters, working with the biomethanization team; now he joins them again for his PhD, that’s also going to be about biomethanization.
