
After her PhD in Biochemistry option Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Yaoundé I (Cameroon) in 2019 and in the framework of the CSIR-TWAS program in collaboration with the CSIR-CFTRI (Central Food Technological Research Institute) of Mysore, Ange-Patrice completed two postdoctoral fellowships. The first fellowship was at the USAMV (University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine) of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, within the framework of the AUF Eugen Ionescu program, and the second one was at the INRAE (French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment) in Nantes within the framework of the MOPGA (Make Our Planet Great Again) program. His work focused on the valorization of sorghum by-products as source of bioactive compounds (non-starch polysaccharides and phenolic compounds). He has a good experience in teaching, supervision of interns and science vulgarization as well as in writing, monitoring and execution of projects as indicated by multiple research projects held in different research institutes (Cameroon, India, Romania, France). He joined the LTB as a project manager in the R&D Food Technology axis to contribute to the development of products and processes beneficial to the Quebec maple industry.
