
Marilyn Medjie Azowe is a Cameroonian student completing a diploma of college studies (DCS) in laboratory techniques, passionate about research and biotechnology. Her background is distinguished by a constant commitment to applied scientific projects.
In the fall of 2025, she followed a research and studies pathway at the University of Sherbrooke, where she worked on developing a stabilizing solution for the storage of phages. This project allowed her to develop her experimental rigor and skills in microbiology. In the winter of 2026, as part of her instrumental analysis course, she participated in a project on the extraction conditions and yields of chaga (Inonotus obliquus), thereby deepening her knowledge in analytical chemistry.
At the same time, since 2024, Marilyn has been involved with Life Changers International, a community of entrepreneurs in partnership with Jiangsu Longliqi Bioscience Co., Ltd. This experience allowed her to develop her skills in leadership, communication, marketing, and coaching.
Driven by a vision focused on impact, Marilyn aspires to contribute to the development of laboratory techniques and the fight against pollution in Africa. In this regard, she is currently doing an internship at the Biomass Technology Laboratory (BTL), within the biomethanization team, where she works on the characterization of substrates and the optimization of their conversion into biogas.
A future laboratory technician and entrepreneur, Marilyn embodies a new generation committed to a sustainable and better future.
