Maria Rosiane de Almeida Andrade is a Brazilian Chemical Engineer who has a master’s degree and Ph.D. in chemical engineering. Her bachelor’s and master’s degrees were from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), where she worked with the synthesis of catalysts for biodiesel production. Her Ph.D. was from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), with a thesis focused on biodiesel production using surfactants, performance in a diesel engine, and Life Cycle Assessment. Rosiane joined the BTL team in 2022 for a research internship focused on the maple syrup industry and is now a postdoctoral student.
