The Biomass Technology Laboratory is proud to announce the nomination of Pr Bruna Rego de Vasconcelos as Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical and Biotechnological engineering at the University of Sherbrooke. Pr Rego de Vasconcelos will also assume the co-direction of the BTL with Pr Lavoie. Pr Rego de Vasconcelos mandate will be to support the industrialization of Power-to-X technology in Quebec, where there is a strong commitment towards reduction of CO2 combined with surplus of green electricity. Conversion of carbon dioxide back to liquid and gas transportation fuel is not only a concept but an opportunity that could eventually become very beneficial to cope with our actual environmental concerns.
