Ariel holds since 2017, a degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Technology (UTFPR). In 2018, he acquired a master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering at the same university. Finally, in 2023, a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry (materials chemistry) at the Maringá State University – UEM. His expertise is studying biopolymers (different polysaccharides such as: gellan gum, chitosan, pectin, and others) to be able to develop biodegradable films, hydrogels, and food packages. In May 2023, he joined the LTB’s analytical chemistry laboratory at the University of Sherbrooke to share all his knowledge with the team in place.
