Visit to the brand new Ciment McInnis plant

The owner of CRIEC-B recently traveled to Port-Daniel-Gascons in Gaspésie to visit the brand new Ciment McInnis plant. This facility uses the latest cutting-edge technologies in the global cement industry to meet new US environmental standards. Thus, each tonne of cement produced will have a lower impact on the environment.

During this visit, Pr. Lavoie had the chance to see a former student of the Chair, Mr. Khalid Ouakarame, now production engineer at Ciment McInnis.
