Stephanie Cangussu is a Chemical Engineering student at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil. She has a background in Chemistry as a technician, when she assisted in research on a biological indicator for cancer detection and did an internship on a research project on amino acids. During her studies, since high school, Stephanie developed an interest for sustainability and development of non-fossil fuels. Through her internship at Biomass Technology Laboratory, she will continue the study in this field while she will work with a PhD-student in developing a process for the continuous production of Biofuels.
