Gabriel is originally from Mossoró, Brazil, but he lives in Natal as he is a mechanical engineering student at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. He is used to work with wind power. Sometimes he climbeded a wind tower to solve problems, sometimes he worked in the office doing programming, or even designing new mechanical tools. Having a fellowship from the Institute of Tropical Medicine, he did some programming to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic, by protecting databases. In addition, he participated, as a teaching assistant, in a research project to build a pendulum schelometer to analyze the properties of materials and also participated in research that also uses JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Here in Sherbrooke, at the Biomass Technologies laboratory, he works in the field of maple production technologies and heat transfer. A new challenge!
