On October 1 the conference of Prof. Bahruddin Saad, a professor at the University of Penang in Malaysia (Universiti Sains Malaysia), was held at the University of Sherbrooke. Professor Bahruddin Saad was a special guest of the CRIEC-B and came to contribute to the work of the Chair with his expertise in the field of analytical chemistry. The event was a great success with over 100 participants. The conference, entitled “Green sample preparations based on microextractions”, depicted the advancement of new green methods in the field of analytical chemistry. It attracted the attention of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology Engineering from University of Sherbrooke and in addition, the entire team of the Chair was present at the event.
