On Friday 2 October, the CRIEC-B had a filled room composed of the Chair members and some members of the industry, all present to attend the conference of Afidah Abdul Rahim, a professor at the University of Penang in Malaysia (Universiti Sains Malaysia). The conference entitled « Mangrove tannin as corrosion inhibitors of metals and alloys » highlighted various assessment methods on the study of the inhibition of corrosion of metals and alloys derived tannin in the mangroves. That was a presentation that captivated the audience from beginning to end.
