André Álvares Monge Neto is a Brazilian Food Engineer with a master’s and Ph.D. in Food Science from the State University of Maringá (UEM – Brazil). The main focus of André’s research was to evaluate interactions between molecules to improve food ingredients’ taste, solubility, and stability. After five years of experience as a teacher in food engineering at UEM, André joined the LBT team to develop products and processes that will benefit the Quebec maple industry.
