My name is Fernando Erick Santos da Silva, from Bresil with a degree in Chemical Engineering of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). I hold a specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering from Faculdade do Vale Elvira Dayrell and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, also from UFRN. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at UFRN.
My professional background includes extensive experience in laboratory environments, focusing on the synthesis of nanostructured carbides (TaC, NbC, WC) through gas-solid reactions at low temperatures. I have actively participated in the production of catalysts and the development of metal-ceramic composite materials (WC-Ni, W-Cu, WC-Co) using advanced gas-solid reaction processes. These materials have wide-ranging applications across various industries, from advanced metallurgy to high-performance catalysts.
I am known for my ability to collaborate effectively and for my commitment to finding innovative and efficient solutions. My focus is on teamwork and integration, striving to achieve high-quality results. I am dedicated to making meaningful contributions that align with the demands of my field, leveraging my skills and expertise to generate a positive impact.
