Cassandre Buchet is a French student currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry and Quality Management, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Throughout her academic career, she has completed several internships in diverse fields, including the synthesis of antibiotic-targeted molecules (2023), the characterization of polymers for transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis (2024), as well as work in oenology with responsibilities in QHSE/RSE management (2025).
Her academic and professional background has enabled her to develop strong expertise in instrumental analytical techniques (chromatography, spectroscopy, thermal analysis), material preparation and characterization, as well as quality management and risk management.
Building on these skills, Cassandre is currently working at the LTB on the study of biomethanization, developing an ion chromatography analytical method.
This five-month international experience at the Université de Sherbrooke in Quebec will allow her to further develop her skills in analytical chemistry and expand her professional network.
