Ianny Andrade Cruz

Ianny Andrade is a Brazilian Petroleum Engineer who has a master and a PhD degree in Process Engineering. Her bachelor’s degree comes from Tiradentes University, but as part of the Science Without Borders program, and she also completed a one-year exchange at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). Her doctoral thesis, which was also concluded at Tiradentes University, was focused on optimizing/automating the sustainable conversion of liquid residues into biogas (Bio CH₄ + Bio H₂) and biofertilizers. Ianny joined the BTL team in 2022 for a research internship with emphasis on biogas production and is now a postdoctoral fellow.
