Juan Pablo comes from Colombia, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Universidad Santo Tomás. He has always been interested about contributing to sustainable development and global decarbonization. Juan Pablo performed two internships that gave him valuable experience: firstly, as an MITACS Globalink Research Award recipient at the ¨Institut de recherche sur l’hydrogène (IRH)¨, focusing on electric thermal storage and HVAC appliances for residential buildings. Afterwards, he worked at the ¨Groupe de recherche sur les technologies et procédés¨, in methane reforming. Juan Pablo has always been passionate and hungry for challenges; he always impresses his personality in everything he does. Currently, he has joined the BTL as a Ph.D student, focusing on creating a mobile greenhouse prototype and collecting memorable experiences along the way.
