
El Mehdi Dadi holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Protection Sciences and Techniques obtained in Morocco. He also holds a graduate diploma in Environmental Auditing (2009) and a master’s degree in Environment (2010) from the University of Sherbrooke, where he is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma (DESS) in Environmental Management.
Throughout his career, El Mehdi has held various positions, including project manager, environmental technician, and operations manager, both in Quebec and internationally. He has developed solid expertise in wastewater treatment, waste management, contaminated soil treatment, and environmental compliance.
From 2018 to 2020, he worked at E2metrix in Sherbrooke, where he contributed to the development of electrochemical technologies for water treatment. Prior to that, he worked with Valoris, Englobe, and ASDR, where he led environmental treatment projects and supervised technical teams.
Driven by a strong interest in pollution control and environmental protection, El Mehdi joined the BTL to pursue a PhD focused on the development, synthesis, and characterization of biochar for environmental applications.
